some VERY good fried chicken - if not a bit too salty, but at least it's homemade
Great fried chicken from someone that doesn't usually like fried chicken. Basic fare, healthy portions, down home cooking. The dining room is quiet, but the bar area is where it's happening. Local hangout like Montgomery County MD doesn't have any more. Definitely not a yuppie fern restaurant.

Restaurateurs converted the Washington Grove Post Office into Hershey's Restaurant—a family restaurant—in 1952. It captures the atmosphere of the past and its menu items include ribs, fried chicken, New York strip, jumbo-lump crab cake sandwiches and Caesar salads. On warm weekends, the restaurant hosts a flea market in its parking lot from 8am to 3pm.
