Fantastic locally-owned place. Try the locations on Fern St (near Lindsay Cadillac) or 23rd St in Crystal City, too. Good beer, good pizza.

Overrated on Foodie sites

I am reviewing the new location on 23rd St's "Restaurant Row" - the have taken over the big corner spot that was a music store for a long time. I had hoped this would be a take-out/hang-out place to come back to- but no. The vaunted "real" pizza beloved by foodie reviewers lately: It's not Two Amy's, or even close. Pizzaiolo Cafe & Bar has a really great open layout; just turn right for the bar area and left for the cafe. If dining al fresco is more your style, the restaurant has a nice spacious, shaded sitting area that will provide relief from the sun's rays. If you're looking for a relaxed meal or a laid back bar scene, Pizzaiolo Cafe & Bar is place to be.
