Haynsworth is an independent private school that provides an exemplary academic program for qualified children, grades K-3 through third grade, in a stimulating and nurturing environment, establishing the foundation for successful secondary education. We invite you to experience the Haynsworth tradition of a superior education. Information can be mailed to you or you may set up an appointment to come and visit. We welcome the opportunity to share with you the Haynsworth experience. The teachers at Haynsworth are qualified, college-trained individuals who believe that education is an ongoing process.They attend summer school, seminars and workshops to develop methods that enrich their bac kgrounds and allows awareness of current educational trends. The parent is an important part of Haynsworth's success. A Parent Advisory Committee made up of interested parents representing each grade, work with the administration in planning special events, coordinating fundraising activities and serving as a liaison between families and faculty. Parent-school conferences are scheduled twice a year.
