Harold's is one of those places you have to experience to believe it. If you order appropriately, it isn't expensive either. I was with three kids and they ordered the matzo ball soup and actually finished it, between the three of them. The matzo ball is enormous and I can't imagine how they make it so large without it getting...

We ordered a take out order to bring back to our hotel room. The burgers were dry and over cooked. Onion rings were good! Loved the pickles. Food temp was on the cool side.

The food was great. Even liked the pickle bar. Just wish they had smaller portions. It's not a place two people can eat at. You have to order the same sandwich because of the size and price.

We have heard about this deli for years and needed a place to stop for dinner on our way home. Harolds is a deli in the mold of Carnegie Deli, etc., with enormous portions and cakes that are the size of a small car. The food was good and served quickly. Received a recommendation with a "The portions are huge" warning.
Wanted some matzabahl soup and a pastrami.
When you walk in the dessert case is the first hook. The cakes looked 12 inches tall!
I asked the waitress for the smallest soup serving. She laughed and brought out 1 matzabahl on a plate, it was the size of a softball...
