These apartments are rather nice, and the staff is very friendly while you're living there. We were never late on rent, and they loved us.
However, that all changes as soon as you turn in your keys. I had the maintenance staff walk through my apartment TWICE, and both times they said it was mint. I didn't have to do a thing. Well, 6 weeks after I moved out, a bill for $350 shows up at my door for "miscellaneous painting." I fought this tooth and nail for 3 months. They essentially said that their own maintenance staff is "not qualified to deem an apartment in good condition."
This was not an isolated incident. A couple we befriended while living there had the exact same issue upon move out.
BEWARE OF MOVE OUT CHARGES
We have lived here for three years and for the most part, we have not had any problems. The fishing is fun, parking can be a bit of a pain, and occasionally we get the rowdy people but all in all it is a nice place to live.
My wife and I moved into Harbour Breeze Apartments at the beginning of 2014 and for the last two years we have enjoyed our stay. The apartments themselves are located within walking distance of a police and fire department as well as a emergency hospital and just down the road from several grocery stores, making it a wonderfully convenient place to live. My husband and I have lived here for a little over a year. It was our first apartment together and it has been exactly what we needed. It is in a safe location, there is a beautiful lake to walk around, and the neighbors are very friendly. The staff also has been great and they greet us by name. Whenever we have needed something fixed, they have responded quickly and fixed the problem.
