Since 1990, The Hanover Tavern Foundation has overseen the operations, activities and preservation of this Historic landmark..., one of the oldest surviving taverns in the United States. Good place to stop when traveling

We did not find many restaurants to stop at for lunch on 301 on our way to visit with our son in MD. Hanover Tavern is a place that we like to stop at because we like the light menu offerings when we are traveling. My wife had the she crab soup and a Balsamic Vinaigrette salad. The soup was...

Romantic dinner by the fire

We were seated right next to the fire, which was warm and toasty on a chilly night. Our waitress recommended a bottle of wine and refilled our glasses as needed. Excellent service.

dinner and a play

Right on Rt. 310 in Hanover, VA, right across the street from the County offices, this is the perfect spot for a nice meal followed by a show in the theater housed in the basement. Parking can be limited on the nights of shows, but plenty more parking across the street after hours. Good food for all.

Very Nice Place for Sunday Brunch
