Do not stay in this hotel if you want a quiet night to rest

I checked in on Friday night and checked out on Sunday. The hotel is fine, but the surrounding neighborhood is very noisy. Cars, motorcycles, and party goers made huge noises even at 2-3am at night. Nice hotel. Our room was very clean. Friendly staff. Good location for our needs. Many restaurants within walking distance. Our bed was very comfortable but the 4 pillows were extremely flat.
There is an "R" line stop nearby. The R line is a system of public buses that continuously loop the downtown Raleigh area. Free to ride.

My third stay at this hotel, definitely recommended. The rooms are spacious, hotel property is kept immaculately clean, and the hotel staff is exceptionally friendly. At times there may be some weekend noise from Glenwood, but it's only audible on one side, if at all. Cookies are yummy!
