Maybe she works wonders for other people's curly hair but not for mine. I am used to getting a Deva cut and they cut the hair while dry so that each curl formation is cut properly. Before the appointment, I was terrified of going to someone new (with good reason) and contemplated calling her to verify she would dry cut. I checked her website and it shows her having beautifully formed spiral curls so I didnt call because I thought....if she can do that to herself she must be doing something right. I got there and she had straight hair...that really threw me for a loop! Not good. And...

I just returned home from my first cut and style with Cheri and all I can say is WOW!

She is very experienced, asked key questions to make sure she understood what I was looking for and my lifestyle, provided her insights and ideas and off we went, in total agreement with what was to be done!

The style, while very different than what I had going in, is stunning and the maintenance will be so easy (and is explained in writing on her blog!)

The house is very lovely and the staff is friendly and helpful. Go check it out. I am so glad I did.

I was looking for an impartial review. I am new to Apex and would like to find a great salon. What I have decided is that they must have something GOOD going on @ Hair Body & Sole. This conclusion comes from reading other stylists and ex employees comments. They are so unprofessional and personal; which translates to me threatened and not so busy in their chair. Cheri & staff are apparently to busy booking clients to be bothered with nonsense. I like them already!!!

Love my hair!

Everywhere I go I am constantly asked ""who does your hair?"" This is the happiest I've been with my hair in a long time. I have very thick hair and Cheri knew EXACTLY what kind of cut I needed to manage it. And thank goodness she talked me out of a haircut I thought I wanted. She was very honest about the style I should have for my face shape and what would work with the texture of my hair. This girl really knows what she's doing.

A friend at work had a lovely haircut and told me that she saw Cherie at Hair, Body and Sole. I've since been twice to see her and have pleased with the courteous staff, the homey feel of the facility as well as with the level of service that I received. Cherie has colored and cut my hair twice and I've been pleased each time. She is eccentric but has never been rude. On the contrary, I found her to be courteous and funny. I'll keep coming back.
