Help us make it rightWent on a Saturday night, we sat outside and had chicken strips and a tacos. The food was ok. It was not bad or great. There were not a lot of people there. The place was almost empty. Lots of people drove by, but didn't come in.
Try the seafood(tuna, shrimp) tacos on the a la carte menu for a great treat, different from the average ground beef Mexican stuff. Awesome rocks margaritas, and friendly staff. Fun for grownups in a group, but kid-friendly too!
I am from southern California and also lived in south Texas, so I am fairly picky about my mexican food since it is in abundance where I grew up! Recommend the margarita's on the rocks, also the carnitas and the shrimp taco's ! Can't seem to stay away from the white sauce !
I wouldn't recommend anything with ground beef, just boring. Shredded beef, chicken, pork, etc. all better. Oh, can't forget the yummy seafood nacho's. This is making me hungry. Reminds me of baja mexican food, like Ensenada or Cancun.

At first they were a nice addition to Shore Drive: a standard and respectable, if not especially noteworthy, Mexican restaurant. Then they started to become more nightlife-oriented, the prices climbed and the food quality dropped. Eventually they were...
Waste of time and money. Went during peak lunch hour and the place was empty. Should have known from that as a sign. Silverware and plates were dirty. White sauce loaded with black pepper. Waitress was "distracteed" or not concerned with us in the least. Food was watered-down mexican, not traditional mexican food. Music in background was in-your-face too loud, too much money for the quality and...
If you want to pay $24 for two drinks, have your order get overlooked, and then have the food dumped in your lap when it finally does arrive, this is your kind of place.
I have beer to this place a few times,,,great food and drinks. Small but worth it. We will be back, we love it!
