Help us make it rightThis is a very well maintained trail-system with interpretative signs throughout It is mostly flat, has several wooden walkways, and made for a delightful afternoon outside. We were there mid-week, and briefly encountered a school group. Otherwise there were few people on the trails.
Particularly if you are staying out in this part of town (Powatan or Greensprings) this is nicely maintained trail system. The trail is flat and access is good. Even though it is adjacent to a high school and subdivision there was considerable wildlife present. Very good for birding.
I was geocaching, and there are several here. Hiked several of the trails, and they are really great. There are sections for bikes, and where they meet hiking trails they are clearly and obviously marked. Not that you can't hike both, and I did.
