Nice place to spend a day with the family by the lake, fishing, camping...etc.
also they got cabins that we are planning to rent soon.

Just stopped by since we were in town, nothing special, not terrible, it was a very hot day so we didn’t stay long. Area was clean, lots of people but we got to experience it and that’s what matters!

This is a great lake to get away for the day. You can enjoy a picnic, fishing, boating, kayaking or swimming. There are also several parks that offer play grounds, ball fields, and soccer fields.

In the 30 years I've lived in the Metroplex, I'd never visited Grapevine Lake. I finally did.
It's a very active lake, filled with kayakers, motorboats, sailboats, fishermen, paddle boats, swimmers, and jumpers-in-the-lake.

Located in Tarrant and Denton Counties on Denton Creek, a tributary of the Elm Fork of the Trinity River, Grapevine Lake is 6,892 acres and 65 feet deep. Largemouth bass, white bass, white crappie, channel catfish, and spotted bass are some of the fish you will find at the fourth busiest lake in Texas.

Grapevine Lake spans 7,400 acres and is perfect for boating, water skiing, windsurfing, fishing and swimming. Twelve parks and four marinas surround the complex with its 150 miles of tree-lined shores. The park system provides areas for various sports, as well as playgrounds and fields for all kinds of activities. In addition, there are campgrounds, picnic areas, and hiking and biking trails....
