Help us make it rightA bit of a drive from Nags Head but its all well worth it. Can't beat the price and quality of fresh fruits and vegetables (skip food lion) and fresh bake pies and cakes. I made the trip twice from nags head to grandy while on vaca for my husbands bday. Chocolate cake and peach pies are a must. Oh...
Great fresh fruit and vegetables, baked goods, and the pickled garlic cloves are a must, although the spicy variety we usually get there were nowhere to be seen this trip. Ice available on premises if you're a long way from home so stock up even on their refrigerated goods.
A primo farmers market, peaches fresh, in bread, salad dressing and smoothies. Lots of gifts, cookbooks, jellies and the like. The peaches just drip down your arm when you bite into them, the flesh is firm and the flavor is great!
On our way to the Outer Banks we stopped at this farm stand to pick up some fruits & vegetables. On the advice of some of the locals, we bought a bag of peaches. They were so juicy and flavorful that on our way back north we picked up a bag to bring home. They also had wonderful scones, jams...
