I live in AL. My wife is in NC to make sure my brother is being taken care of while in this facility. Yesterday he had left and no one could find him. The staff failed to report this incident to the familyfor many hours until the hospital called and said he was there. He is in a wheelchair and they chair has alarms to keep them from exiting. I have a friend there that I take care of and she hsve stage 3 cancer. She had to go without her meds. for 4 days. She was in such pain.This not the first time time this have happened.

Never seen any baked goods being sold. Must have been the day the state was coming in. The man who is in charge has different rules for different residents. The rules for the people who have been there before 2010 aren't the same fpr the residents who who have come in 2011. The food is always cold and has no taste.

My mom has been a resident here since 12/11/09. I have yet to see anyone selling anything in the lobby. Since my mom has alzheimer's, and has forgotten how to dial a phone, no phone in the room is not an issue. The staff that we have had contact with have all been very caring, concerned and helpful; from the social workers to the DON to the CNA's to the LPN's. My dad visits every day and calls...
