Outstanding B&B in Williamsburg

We stayed at the Governor's Trace B&B this past weekend in Williamsburg, VA. Before we even arrived Dick and Sue were calling and sending emails to help us with our trip. The service was excellent from start to finish. The room was great and the breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend the Governor's Trace if you are heading to Williamsburg.

Very convienent to Colonial Williamsburg and friendly service

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. Location was excellent. The Inn was nice and the Inn keepers were attentive to our needs and gave us advice on what to see and where to eat. It was a safe environment and rooms were very cozy. The in room breakfast was really tasty and a nice touch.

Accommodations that are close to downtown Colonial Williamsburg are few and far between. Most are closer to the retail end and not the historic part and the wonderful taverns. Location really could not be better - 5 minutes walk tops to the Colonial attractions, completely solved the parking problem that is Williamsburg in summer. The owners were very nice and provided splendid breakfasts daily, and had great restaurant recommendations for the evening.
