Established in 1978, we offer dance training of the highest standards. The school offers classes ranging from pre-school through advanced levels. Our instructors are fully qualified in dance instruction. We offer ballet, tap, pointe, modern, lyrical, hip hop, jazz and ballroom. After moving to the area, I was trying to find a ballet school for my daughter to continue the wonderful training that she had received from the New England area. I received a recommendation that Golden Slippers was the best in the area. Needless to say, I decided to try them out. Right after the first parent observation day, I noticed that the training/technique didn’t seem to be up to par with what my daughter was accustomed to. I made a bad decision and decided to let my daughter stay there for the remainder of the year, mainly because I didn’t want to switch her during the middle of the year. Out of the year we were there my daughter had 3 different ballet instructors and only learned 1 new technique. They seem to be more for fun, and are way overcrowded for your child to get the attention of being able to do the techniques properly. They are really into the annual performance. And I agree that they put on a great show. But if you really watch the performers, the technique just isn’t there. If your child is really serious about dance or if you are really looking to get high quality training for your child, this is not the place…

Very professional instruction, but a lot of fun. The shows are like Broadway! I can highly recommend this business...very diversified but also current with new dance styles.
