Editorial review from Citysearch

I am a student there, and I think that only some of the teachers are harsh on the children, and show interest in their field of choice. In addition, they have different levels of class if you wish to be pressured or if you want an easier class. Also, they give a flat rate, so the amount the lessons cost is dependent on the number of class you are in or how long the class is. In summation, they always are smiling, converse with you while a class is in session, and give helpful suggestions. I believe that the class are beneficial, and very helpful.

DO NOT ENROLL HERE!

This is not a Academy that values your childrens interest or well being, only your money. The owner and management staff are very harsh with parents ( who pay their salary by the way) and EXTREMELY unpleasant with the children.
I became very sick while my daughter was enrolled and ended up having surgery. I was told to avoid stress at all cost. The stress this put on my family caused my 3 year old daughter who was enrolled to fall ill. I had a 2 week bed rest after surgery, then My daughter was sick 3 weeks which over lapped each other. Causing her to miss 4 weeks. When I called the week...

This dance academy is much more about producing a slick, Broadway style recital than in instilling love of dance into young students. We invited out of town family members to the annual recital. As we watched our five year old daughter onstage at the recital, we all cringed. These very young children were dressed up in suggestive and age inappropriate costumes and the choreography was unsuitable for five year old children. The management is rude. A place to be avoided. Do not waste your hard earned money.

This is not a studio that values your children, only your money. The owner and management staff are very harsh with parents ( who pay their salary by the way) and EXTREMELY unpleasant with the children. The studio is very recital driven and the students are not taught proper technique, instead just prepared for the show. Speaking of which the recitals are over 3 hours long and they expect the children ( even the tiny ones) to sit through several late night rehearsals to get ready. There is no consideration of the children's ages whatsoever...and the recital is not terribly good to boot....

Not the best idea

Be aware, this is a recreational studio, which means, if you or your child is serious about dance, and wants to learn the correct techniques and persue a future in dance, this place is not for you. They put you in classs by age, not by ability, so you could be in a class for a year and not be challenged at all. The classes are not tought by trained, college degree dance instructors, and chances are your child will not learn the proper techiique for the type of dance class they take. You may get lucky and get a good teacher, but if you go elsewhere, you will see the difference. Again,...
