Golden Palace is going down hill. After they did the renovation, it has become a hit and miss. 10 years ago I would eat there several times a week and the buffet would be wonderful almost everytime. The food is usually okay but the last time I went the food dishes been sitting out too long and the foods lacked flaver. What good is a huge selection when the food is just not up to par?
Definitely a big disappointment. Food and quality has gone down over the years. Had not been for a while, now I remember why.
Locals flock to the buffet that offers Chinese cuisine and serves soups, seafood and egg rolls in a casual setting.
Good news the town center cafe is now run by the Golden Place people in the same place . we Just ate there it was great !!!!!!!!!! I felt like a king ! the numer now is 224-6471

They had a great buffet and the staff treated us like family but unfortunately - they have closed their doors and will be missed.
It's ok but it is not like it use to be back in the day, I like it because the buffet bar comes with the dinner and the food that my husban...

Golden Palaces striking decor sets the stage for a visual Asian feast. Windows are decorated with etched-glass murals of birds and fishes. Keyhole archways divide the long, spacious dining room. Good service and an elaborate buffet are the reasons to visit. The menu is also extensive. The buffet is replenished frequently, and the food is hot and fresh. The atmosphere is perfect for a fun meal out.
