We were much in need of a vacation from home, but didn't want to drive a long distance. Despite only living 15 or so miles from Portsmouth, we had never really taken the time to explore this town. We stayed at the Glencoe B&B while visiting family in the Norfolk area. It was New Year's Eve, just in time for the annual Scottish Walk. Anne, our hostess, was most gracious. Her lovely home was decorated for Christmas, with tartans everywhere. The Scottish parade route went right in front of her home in the historic area. We joined in...

At the Glencoe Inn we were greeted by warm hospitality. Our stay was private and relaxing on the third floor , the Ian MacGregor. We had a peaceful rest and enjoyed the secluded outdoor deck at night and in the morning with a delicious cup of coffee.
