I went to Girlfriends in September of 2010 to get my hair braided for a trip to miami. It looked great but they charged extra because I requested that they braid past my own hair to avoid breakage. Ok, I've been to Girlfriends once before, it was for a quick weave though. Only two workers in the shop, one only sat and ate the whole time, while they spoke a foreign language. The lady doing my hair, didn't do the style I asked for, and I was mad. I was turning 21 that weekend and I wanted a particular style. I'm so glad y'all are posting about their micros, cuz I was gonna let them do mine....
