I took my cat to Gateway Animal Hospital and was pleasently suprised at how caring and attentive the staff was. The Hospital also smelt amazing, not at all like animals. I have been to many other hospitals on the Island that were not clean and the staff not friendly. I highly reccomend Gateway to all pet owners. They are an amazing hospital and you will get the best care available.
Why is it always $300-$500 everytime I walk in there? You do the math. I now go somewhere else and the bills are $40-$70, people just look on the net at the VCA chain and how they operate.
You can only burn a person once, because I will never go there again. Please do not assume everyone is a fool, I am a RN for 15 years. They are as bad as St. Francis Animal Hospital in Brooklyn. I bought a puppy 3 weeks ago at puppy boutique and noticed when i brought her home that she was coughing slightly. I brought her to see Dr. Rosaly at gateway and he informed me that she had kennel cough. He wrote an unfit for purchase for for the pet store because they sold me a sick dog. I dont know about all the other reviews but this has to be one of the best veterinary hospitals on the island! the drs and staff are friendly and great and when i get blood done i get the results the very next day. I had my female cat spayed 4 weeks ago from them and just the other day the receptionist called to see if everything was ok with her.
