Main house is facinating but your room will be in the Coach House

In general we had a very nice experience, but be advised: you won't be staying in the charming gabled mansion in the photo. All B&B rooms are in the "Coach House" or another auxiliary building. All the B&B rooms are nicely decorated in Victorian style, as is the breakfast room, but the outside of the Coach House is quite plain-Jane....

Great experience, arrived by boat

We were traveling up the Bay by sailboat and found the Gables a great place to stop. The house has it's own dock which was easy to get into/out of. We booked a room for the night and ended up staying 2 because of weather. We got a wonderful tour of the original house by the owner and superb breakfasts...
