Joshua, the owner, came over to do the estimate and he spent ample time up on our roof and typing a detailed proposal with pictures of our issues. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and how it was going to be done – this part went a little over my understanding but was appreciated. On some of our other bids they didn’t even go up on the roof and then just handed me a sheet of paper with pricing. The pricing offered by G & G was not the highest or the lowest bid, but it did definitely stand out with the quality of shingle they were going to install as well as an extensive warranty. I was also given a long list of local referrals with pictures of completed work and contact information. Prior to beginning the work, Joshua returned phone calls promptly and had an insurance coverage with our house listed on the policy mailed to us. His crew and crew leader were very attentive to details and my questions. Since we have pets, I asked them to double check the ground around the house before they left each day for any items that could be ingested or would hurt their paws if stepped on and all six of the crew went around the house a second time double checking for me. The final result is a gorgeous, well-installed roof that will last for decades! I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for a roof repair or replacement.
