This COULD be a really nice park. I moved to Elizabeth City recently, and being an avid disc golf player, I was excited there was a course in the area. The park as a whole has become pretty run-down. swimming in a landfill, really?

I can't believe people used to swim there. the swimming area is located about a hundred yards from a giant, active mountain of garbage. Usually, landfills are turned
into parks after they stop dumping garbage there. But I've still never heard of swimming in one. They even have fishing and paddle boats there. Chlorine does NOT disinfect chemicals for god's sake. This is the craziest thing...

I absolutely love Fun Junktion, I go there almost every day just to fish, ride bikes, go up hills, boating, etc. I just wish they re-opened their pool, I never actually got a chance to swim in it.. They have a basketball court, a skatepark, a walk trail, and a lake that's in between it.. It's FUN!

Needs lots of Repairs

I used to love going there with my kids, but no one takes care of the park, things are breaking, there's no swimming allowed anymore, that was something my kids loved going there for. Someone needs to get clean up and repairs done around there and maybe more people would come with their families.

i liked the halfpipes and the stair case connected to the quarterpipe. i did not like how high the rails were some people can not ollie that high.
