Paul Charron and Sharon Enoch opened The Full Moon Café on the Manteo Waterfront, Roanoke Island Outer Banks in 1995. Sharon is a native of Baltimore, and as one of the oldest of nine children, she's no stranger to making food in large quantities. "I credit my Mom for my culinary adventures. She had a horde of mouths to feed, but every Sunday we would set the table with fine china and silver...

In a renovated gas station, this wonderfully cheerful bistro has large front windows and lots of patio seating. The herbed hummus with toasted pita is fantastic, as are the fat crab cakes and baked crab-dip appetizer. Other choices include salads, veggie wraps, seafood enchiladas, burgers of all kinds, and hearty sandwiches. Light eaters beware: even the Waldorf salad comes with a million...

The Full Moon Cafe Restaurant Review

Grab a sidewalk table at lunchtime or cozy up to the bar in the tap room and enjoy one of The Full Moon Café’s quesadillas or many wraps. A daily soup and quiche are featured, along with a variety of salads --- the Blue Moon Waldorf is our favorite: apples, walnuts, aged blue cheese and balsamic vinaigrette. Appetizers available for lunch and dinner include baked crab dip, stuffed portobello...

The server committed the cardinal sin of failing to deliver the proper beer. The tuna sandwich was delivered raw, not medium rare as specified.
After the meal, I discreetly registered my complaint with the manager, who couldn't be bothered: no...

Visited on a Wednesday, early afternoon just after the lunch rush.
V - Located right in the middle of old town Manteo. A quaint little cafe with a pub room, which is also the two-barrel brew house. Small with a copper top bar. Not a beer geek clientele, but many aficionados were present. 4.25.
SEL - IMO a great selection based solely on all in-house brews - An English IPA, blonde, RIS,...

Cool little brewpub with the bar/taproom on one side, a restaurant section on the other, and a good amount of outdoor seating. The taproom was tiny but still accommodated about 12 seats and had a nice little flat screen TV to watch the games.
Good beer selection with 10 in-house brews and one guest tap to pick from.
Food was good as well with a mix of pub food and higher end seafood to pair...
