Horrible

They must be going downhill. Horrible food- disgusting and they would not exchange it! Overcharged, dated decor and just bad customer service! We will never go back~ too bad a better restaurant couldn't take over the cool building!

The restaurant is very beautiful and unique inside, but very noisy. If you are looking for a quiet dining experience this is not the place. Food was ok, but not the quality I had expected.

Me and my wife had brunch here 9/30/07 and I was fully satisfied. Not many places around can make Eggs Benedict properly, but Freemason Abbey is on par! Great service, extremely reasonable prices—I was very surprised. I cannot recommend Sunday brunch here strongly enough. Please do give it a try at least once!

Freemason Abbey Restaurant Review

The stone exterior and vaulted ceilings of this century-old former church provide a unique atmosphere in which to enjoy some satisfying American favorites, such as whole Atlantic lobsters, prime rib, roasted baby-back ribs, fan tailed shrimp and crab cakes. We also recommend the homemade artichoke dip and crab dip. Of course, others are religious when it comes to the she crab soup. Gluten-free...

The Freemason Abbey Restaurant might be the most fun you've ever had in church.

Had a wonderful dinner here while visiting from Maine. Lived in Ghent while in the Navy over 26 yrs ago, so we were excited to come back. A friend had told us about your place, so we had to go. Food was all EXCELLENT! Our server, Pasquale, was very friendly, helpful & attentive. Next time we're in the area, we'll be back!

She-crab soup is AWESOME! Alexis was my waitress.I didn't have to ask for anything. I believe the manager is the person that walks around asking if everything is ok. First time there was yesterday. I was back again today. This is my new spot!

The fried green tomatoes with goat cheese was AMAZING. The she crab soup was very good. My drink the Elizabeth was delicious as well. My main plate was the Seafood Broiled Platter. It was okay. Way to much Old Bay. The scallops were perfect. The mahi mahi was bland. The crabcake was decent. My husband ordered the grilled pork chop and it was cooked perfectly.
