Freedom Park is a gem. Miles of trails, beautiful gardens, elaborate playgrounds, picnic areas, historic treasures, a zip line, and a confidence course. It's beautifully maintained.

Freedom Park has about 20 miles of mountain bike trails that range from beginner to expert. I was surprised to find a lot of contour in the layout and got some good workouts. If you stay on the basic trails, you won't be overly challenged - mostly switchbacks and steep climbs. There are numerous "features" that are very challenging and...

Nice little park in desperate need of water

Stopped by this park during a trip to Williamsburg. The park is quite cute and we got to see some zipliners having a blast nearby. The botanic garden was quaint, but in desperate need of water. Most of the plants and flowers in the area looked like they were on their last leg, all dried up. It's a nice park...

Nice little park with huge potential. Has a little botanical garden and nice walking trails. The freed slave cottages are interesting and well done. The GO Ape zip line course ollked like so much fun - we will be back for that. This is a work in progress. Watch this spot!

Williamsburg tries hard

This is a great park. Bike trails, GoApe and historic site. James city country sure tries hard. They have really done a lot.
