Help us make it rightThe new location is really lacking - Fathers day they reported that they were almost out of ribs they were already out of baked potatoes and baked beans and it was only 6 pm.
Had dinner at Frankie's new location off Virginia Beach Blvd. The food is still good and the prices are about the same. The menu is missing some of the favorites from the old Laskin location. That's the good news. The bad news is that the new location is really lacking in personality. I felt like I was eating in a sub shop rather than a sit down restaurant. I left really missing the old location.
Though the food is great and the servers attentive, there seems to be an attitude problem in management. I was there with a large group and service was SLOW.
After we finished our meal, one of us went to the manager and commented politely about the slow service. The manager responded to the effect of, if you don't like it, don't come back.
We're taking his advice.
The ribs here were a little on the fatty side. But the sauce on the ribs were great. The prices are fair.
they have the best baby back ribs i've ever had. i also recommend their corn bread. you should try this place when you're in the mood for ribs.
I may be jaded being from Texas, but the food left a lot to be desired. The meat was dry and everyting else had too much salt. A great disappointment.
My husband raved about the ribs here and I enjoyed the salad, bread, and relaxing atmosphere. A nice place to eat on vacation.
These are the best ribs in town. I'm tempted by other speacials, but I always come back to Frankie's. It's small, relaxing environment, and I love the cornbreat here as well.
