Dr. DeTrane has a great reputation in our area. I had my first colonoscopy with him just a few days ago, and I was very comfortable. I returned completely to normal as soon as I got home. I am also grateful because he caught a polyp that was hard to see. You want a doctor that has a high adenoma detection rate! He also calls his patients at home himself to see how you are doing. Very good...

Beware, his office staff will tell you a lab is covered. The doctor will order the lab as the "ordering physician", and when insurance doesn't cover, insurance and the doctor will tell the patient it is their responsibility - essentially rewarding themselves for the doctor's error (and they admit it is the doctor's error) It happened to me with Dr. Detrane's office!
