This is a small locally owned restaurant, but boy the food was terrific. Just a few miles from Williamsburg, we live locally but never stopped. Today we ate lunch there. OMG! Onion rings give me more onion rinds

The BEST onion rings.....crunchy on the outside tender on the inside. Dipped in housemade ranch dressing. Turkey, ham and smoked Gouda cheese sandwich for me. We ordered the seafood trio and the oysters weren't that great BUT everything else was delicious! Everything is homemade and we really enjoyed the sides. The staff is super friendly and I can't say enough nice things about them and how welcome they made us feel. I should have ordered the pork chop special - it looked delicious!

Fox’s Ordinary is in a small building that doesn’t look like a restaurant from the street side; we drove right by and had to turn around. We went a little after lunch and it was still full of locals.
