I have had a great first six months at the Aventine. The office staff is EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating -- Janelle Gabriel & Marcus are super friendly. My maintenance requests have never been outstanding for more than 24 hours. The walls are a little thin, so be aware of that before moving in. You …
I've been in this apartment from the time it opened, and have seen 3 realtors companies come thru here. This is the worst one. I would not recommend this place to anyone and they are offering $1000.00 for referrals.
It's a pretty nice apartment for the price, situated right next to the Fort Totten Metro making commuting to work a breeze. The staff is friendly and responsive to requests. My one qualm is with the Fort Totten neighborhood which lacks a close proximity to stores and restaurants, however, there is easy access to these things just a couple metro stops away.
I am so pleased with my apartment. I relocated back to the city and needed a place convenient to public transportation, with parking options, a safe environment, washer/dryer in the unit and great staff. It's a great first apartment, overall. No real huge complaints. Management isn't really on top of things a lot of the time, and appliances break down pretty often. But the location is unbeatable for the price, literally AT the Fort Totten metro (which has three lines running through it). There's also a 7/11 in the complex, which can be pretty convenient.
