Help us make it rightI used to shop in the food lion on Western blvd. I dont drive and I'm on disabiltiy. It was raining, I need double bags in order to get home on the bus. The cashier refused to give me double bags and put lettuce in with boxes. She said she was short on bags. I worked for harris teeter years ago and I know this is an inappropriate way of packing and dealing with short supplies. I went to an empty cash register and got my bags. Hello I am a 25 female who lives relatively close to Food Lion. I have guests who are staying at my house for the week (former Marine Corp friends) and so I was in the store 2-17-2008 to purchase some groceries and wine. The cashier was very rude with a lot of attitude. The manager on duty was just as bad. Do not ever visit Atanette's line if you are interested in seeing a smile at check out. Or maybe they should consider self-checkout registers if they cannot provide friendlier service than that.
