This is my family's favorite restaurant. We always bring out-of-town visitors to Five-0-1 for dinner. You can always count on a great meal and service. We love the Cajun Bourbon Shrimp & Scallops and the Michelob Shrimp is to die for!!! YUM!

We've never had a bad meal here, and we've been eating here off and on for over 5 years. Even with 8 of us for dinner, the meals were fantastik, served promptly and we had a wonderful member of their waitstaff, who never missed a beat.

Five 01 City Grill Restaurant Review

Founded by prolific local restaurateurs Mike Atkinson and Cory Beisel more than 25 years ago, this sophisticated yet friendly neighborhood hot-spot hasn’t skipped a beat under new ownership. Because the clientele has matured along with the business, the stage in the bar was replaced by a cozy fireplace and the mounted moose heads and fish swapped out for abstract paintings. But the...

Not just a grill in name only, this restaurant has an open-grill kitchen in the dining room. It can be noisy on the bar side when live bands play in the evening. Locals get comfortable in padded chairs and booths as they quaff the $2 beer of the month or order from the extensive wine vault. The California-inspired fusion menu offers a variety of price ranges: excellent homemade pizza from...

Sophisticated, friendly, neighborhood dining with cool food combinations and a hot wine list---what more could a customer want? The no-frills décor, open kitchen and culinary prowess of chef Cory Beisel have made Five 01 the hippest restaurant around. Grilled pizzas and salads share menu space with innovative selections like a crispy eggplant and goat cheese lasagnette and Atlantic salmon with...

My husband and I used to go to 501 all the time! We don't drink, but we loved the food, especially the calamari! About a week ago we were in the mood for some and decided to go. First, the calamari came out, the portion was cut in half of what's it's normally been, there were no banana peppers like before, and only one sauce as opposed to the 2 you used to get. The one sauce was actually kind...

High ceilings with drop fans, warm wood walls and different seating levels all create a relaxing environment at this popular eatery. A sports bar connected to the main dining room spills into the dining area. The uncomplicated menu sticks to simply prepared ingredients. Traditional crab cakes, beef and pasta dishes make good choices; there are also several daily specials. Service is friendly...
