Fire Stones is trying to play all the angles on eateries. They
are located on the 4 corners in a small stip mall. From the ouside
they appear to be a fine dining place. Not so...the food it OK..
The chicken is served too well cooked and is mostly dried out..the
grilled food comes however it gets there...not exactly as ordered..the
take out doesn't fare much better.
One meal was "missed" by the cook, arriving long after
the other meal was consumed. Both meals were rather tasteless.
Water refill requested twice, then still another wait. Dessert
was dry. Prices are high, service not great. Give this one a miss
if you're hungry in Quechee.
Fire Stones is an upscale dining experience with wood fired oven baked bread. The bread is cooked in a traditional clay, stone and brick oven of rural Quebec style. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and has an outdoor roof top deck.
