Will never eat here again. EXTREMELY unprofessional. The bartender "Tommy" was very attentive, with prompt and courteous service. Fin has advertisements in the locker room of my local gym that attracted myself there to eat whereas prior I only frequented there for wine with friends. These advertisements such as the Thai Chicken Spinach salad evidently has not been on the menu in some time. So instead I tried the Salmon, cous cous, walnut pesto. Unfortunately, an employee in which he and I had bad dealings a few years back, approached me in an aggressive manner and created a ruckus. He was not present when I arrived or otherwise I would have left prior to being serviced. Though when he came into my establishment two nights ago, I was the person whom greeted him and remained professional, not even charging him the cover. He stayed and enjoyed some beverages and left without me giving him any looks, gestures, or rude comments. A female, whom was either the manager or owner of Fin also came over and gave me an attitude and told me to "walk on" at which time the bartender Tommy addressed them stating "This is extremely unprofessional!" And he again apologized to me.(I was seated at the bar finishing my drink) Will be looking at filing a formal complaint with the proper entities.
We save Fin's for our special occassions and have never been disappointed. The service is always first class. The menu changes and selections are out of this world. Everything is prepared on site by highly trained and motivated Chefs. Save room for the desserts...you won't be disappointed.
Food was great, the tasting menu was not as good as the first time we did it but was equitable. There was only two problems I had #1 It was really noisy and #2 I asked for special accommodations because we were celebrating a big birthday and none of our needs were met. Although that was disappointing we enjoyed.
Booked on short notice because we were in the area and it turned out this dinner would be the highlight of our trip. Not cheap, but the food was excellent and the portion sizes huge. We asked for mocktails and let them decide on the combination of ingredients, yummie!!! Definitely worth the drive (and the money)!
Five of us ate here for the first time. Entrees ordered were crab cakes, soft shell crabs, cobia and tuna. After tasting each, the crab cakes were my favorite and would rank right up at the top of the best of the best crab cakes! The atmosphere and service were excellent also.
