Faro used to be the Lobster Pound and is run by the same owners. Our first visit was this week and we weren't disappointed. The décor has changed for the better ... much more cozy and interesting.
The menu, we thought, was very reasonably priced. I love pasta so tried the Lasagna Florentine (spinach) - it was great. Nice presentation...

We are bar people so we made reservations and chose to sit in the bar. It was lively and fun! My man loves to watch games, and I'm a sports nut too. Finally there's a great restaurant in the Lakes region. We used to come here regularly when it was a lobster joint. And it was fine. But the owners have reinvented the place as a moderately priced Italian restaurant. Their gamble has paid off. As someone who travels to Italy very frequently I can say with commitment that Faro serves authentic...

Best tasting pizza since the North End of Boston

We enjoyed the pizza, the bread selection from North End that comes fresh daily,
I enjoyed the sauted vege's, and left room for the wonderful cinnamon gelato.

Inside is nice but the food is poor for the price. The steak i got was half fat and was 30 dollars for a poor cut of steak. When i made waitress aware. She said sorry. But nothing from a management standpoint for the awful cut of steak. Also my mother ordered meatballs that were cold. I would not go...
