Farmers Fishers Bakers Restaurant Review

An entirely restructured interior includes various seating areas, an in-house bakery and a sushi bar, a vast change from the very original Agraria restaurant, the predecessor of the late Farmers & Fishers. With this setup, patrons will find themselves puzzling over how to align their preferences --- perhaps opting for seafood as in sushi, or just a good old American-style farm dinner, sort of....

D.C.'s Best Patios for Drinking Beer

For years, D.C. drinkers have taken full advantage of the (usually, anyway) mild Mid-Atlantic climate to consume adult beverages outdoors. From the rooftops of Adams Morgan to the shores of Washington Harbour, there's no shortage of great places to eat and drink outside. The city's more recent hospitality history demonstrates the embrace of all things craft beer, whether the beers be homegrown...

Still Hot or Not? A Quick Spot Check on Wait Times

They were hot when they opened — are the lines still epic? Here's a quick survey of wait times at restaurants that were popular about a year ago (as well as restaurants notorious for their lines). Last week, Eater did a quick spot check at each of these places to see how long a walk-in party of two would have to wait. Obviously, wait times are highly variable depending on a number of factors...

Ten Restaurants For Those Who Want It All

Yesterday, Eater found some restaurants geared toward those who don't want to be bombarded by choice. Those people should stay away from this new map. Each of these restaurants has a little bit of this, a little more of that, and a whole lot of everything. One restaurant has a hot dog, pupusa, and spring roll on the same section of its menu. Another restaurant on this map has thirteen menus on...

Relaunched with a new name, this Washington Harbour American (formerly Farmers & Fishers) serves a diverse menu ranging from flatbreads to grilled meats to sushi made with local seafood along with treats from an open bakery and pastry studio; reclaimed materials abound throughout the LEED-certified space that's a mix of whimsical and chic (think farmyard meets marina), plus there's a patio...

This place is hidden gem. My wife & I stopped for a wonderful dinner here. I had the fried scallops and my wife had the Spice Entrecôte. Both were outstanding. And our server was even more outstanding. Don’t miss it!

Quality ambience, fantastic service, superb meals.
I made the choice to try shrimp Louie salad and yes it was scrumptious. Regrettably, though, seafood jambalaya was ordinary.
My visit here was nice. I will return.

I love the location, the décor, and the ambiance in this place. It's got a casual, comfortable vibe and if it's warm out, dining outside is really nice. I was surprised at how big the restaurant actually is as well.
The food - some dishes...

Impressive Service

I ate at the bar recently and the service was amazing. The two bartenders were the hardest working people I’ve ever seen at a DC establishment. Friendly and efficient. The food didn’t disappoint either. I look forward to coming back again soon.
