Our name was even chosen from entries submitted by local residents. Today, we are recognized as the premier grocer in the Hampton Roads-area. Annual Reader's Choice polls consistently name us the area's best grocery store. We currently operate 45 stores in the Hampton Roads area. Farm Fresh also operates a free-standing pharmacy inside CHKD in Norfolk. It is nice that I have a supermarket close by my house. That is about all the nice things I can say about this place. I have gotten food poisoning three times from different items at this place....

Here's the deal at Farm Fresh. You walk by any meat dept and look in their reduction bin. Notice how there is never any beef in there. The people that work their are pushed to grind their beef instead of reduce it. As for the pork, it is simply re-wrapped. A lot of stores take the fresh product that they over order and simply throw it in the freezer and thaw it out as they see fit. There is...
