My vet at another practice was unable to see my dogs so I brought them here. They were both very sick from eating a new bag of dog food, bloody stool, and throwing up blood. We saw two different vets on two different days, one for each dog. They were fantastic, both of them. They gave me all my options and suggested what they felt would be best. Prices were very reasonable and both my dogs are doing so much better. I really thought one of them might die she was so sick. I was more than pleased with this facility and I am thinking of changing vets.
One time they let my dog fall off the examining table. When she got sick recently, they misdiagnosed her and I had to pay another $350 to the ER who got it right. They wanted to keep her over night with IV fluids, yet they had no one to monitor her in a kennel-like environment with barking dogs where she could have chewn off the IV. Post surgery they gave me no instructions and just handed her to me, heavily medicated. Finally, when a vet advertises in Val-Pac for half off fees, you know they are bad news. These people are jaded just because they deal mostly with lower income folks. Avoid if you care about your animal. They can't keep a good vet, which also tells you something.
Dr Horst has been my vet for 14 years. I have always known him to be very caring. He fixed my dogs broken leg when I couldn't afford a specialist. I have recommended Fairfield to all of my friends and they are always thrilled at the service.

Excellent care and staff! I love that for most things you can just walk in without an appointment! That totally meets my schedule. Also, they offer price matching on your prescriptions if you find them at a local Pharmacy cheaper and bring in your receipt! You can't beat that!
