My family and I were going to Washington from Memphis and Fairfield Inn Roanoke was a great choice for rest one night. It's near to highway - with no noise - friendly staff and very nice room (the hotel is pretty new). There is a supermarket two blocks away.

We stopped here on the way north on I 81. Our first stay at a Fairfield Inn was very nice. Desk folks were efficient and accommodating to our request for a ground floor room. Nothing special, but will be looking into other Fairfields this year. Always nice to have eggs and bacon with that cardboard waffle machine. A VG rating...
