Ethel and Ramone's Restaurant is a locally owned and operated establishment. Started in 1993 by Jeff Berkow as small coffee and tea room, Ethel and Ramone’s has steadily grown and evolved through the years. On a little street in Mount Washington, you'll be confronted with four intriguing restaurants on the same short block. Ethel and Ramone's is the place for Cajun-style food. The folks who run this offbeat eatery know good food. Get the gumbo -- it's spicy, filling, and rich with andouille sausage and chicken. Other Louisiana favorites include red beans and rice, jambalaya, and blackened fish....

Great, not just good, service over the top; atmosphere of a true NOLA cafe, at a reasonable price. How do you beat that? Pecan-Apple salad was uniquely flavorful and crisp. Shrimp Andouille sausage jambalaya...literally beyond my description, but let's try. Perfect spicy, more and larger shrimp than a scampi dinner, and sausage crisp yet moist. I know!! But my favorite,...

Located in Mt. Washington, this is a go to venue for good southern cooking. The gumbo and jambalaya are first rate. Try the seafood or chicken with andouille. The ribs are also a winner.

Ethels is a quaint spot in the heart of Mt. Washington, which is just North of Downtown Baltimore and worth a visit for dinner. Menu items have a Louisiana creole flare and include dishes such as Gumbo, jumbalaya (mixed seafood or single fish), two different style crab cakes, a delicious roasted chicken dish, and salads. One of the best items...

We found this place was close to where we were staying and the reviews were good. The restaurant is small and cozy. Service was good, the waiter was attentive. Its very close to a university so majority...
