My family has been going here for years and we love it. Great prices, great service, delicious food and a convenient location for locals.
We always get the sizzling texas fajitas and queso dip! The place may look like a "hole in the wall" because it is converted from an old motel, but it is the most delicious Mexican food...

I have never had a bad meal here. They now have a salsa bar that adds to the experience. They get your food to you quickly and the staff is very friendly.

The difference between El Pobre in Waynesville and El Pobre in Bethel (Canton) is that the Waynesville location serves wine and beer.
