Great Educational Organization

I recommend every classified and teacher sign up for Education Austin. The staff is well knowledged and professional. It is important for every teacher, teacher's aide, secretary, custodian, cafeteria worker, bus driver, monitor, and any other position that is not administrative to join this organization. Teacher associations are for all teachers. Sometimes bad things happen to great teachers that are beyond their control and Education Austin is there to advocate for them. Education Austin works to improve salaries across the board and uphold member rights. Everyone has the right to work in a non-hostile, supportive environment. This organization is affiliated with Texas American Federation of Teachers (Texas AFT), American Federation of Teachers (AFT), Texas State Teachers Association (TSTA), National Education Association (NEA), AFL-CIO, and each of these international affliliates as well. There are many resources at one's fingertips to assist for all sorts of subjects. I highly recommend all AISD non-administrative employees sign up for Education Austin.
