Richmond's oldest residence, the Old Stone House in Shockoe Bottom, just west of Church Hill Historic District, now holds a museum honoring the famous writer. The exhibits are well done, the staff is informative and friendly. The grounds are well kept and it is larger than it appears. Six bucks a person is a bargain for the entertainment value.
