Dirty room, nasty floor

This motel did have an ocean view but that was the only thing it had going for it. The room has the dirtiest floor I have ever seen and did not feel comfortable walking around without my socks on. The towels were scratchy and had a strange smell, there was no TV remote, the cable was horrible and the front door rattled every time the wind blew.

Couldn't get into first room. Second had no working shower, or temperature control. Final room had no lights. ?

1st room was rented and not up to code with face plate missing off power near sink. No phone and wires hanging out of wall. 2nd room was smoking and queen size bed wanted king size bed and no smoking 2nd room toilet didn't work phone didn't work no linen service. I had to track down towels and sheets on my own. Worst 4 nights ever spent in a motel. For a Motel 6 name it was terrible...

My youngest daughter and I went down to Norfolk to visit my daughter/her sister that is in the Navy. The room was filthy. There was, what appeared to be, dried feces or puke on the wall by the bathroom, wrappers in the toilet, little black things on the box spring, and the room reeked of cigarette smoke (I had booked nonsmoking). The pictures they have posted are very deceiving! This place is filthy! I had booked for three nights and couldn't bring myself to even sleep there for one! They would not refund my money for all three nights and stated that it was a penalty for canceling. Here I'm penalized for not wanting my eleven year old and my sailor to stay in filth, but their pictures lie...even down to the lobby! It...
