Location and price. It was relatively convenient to the Naval Recruit Training Center and inexpensive. The staff was friendly and helpful. Old property, fairly worn, and minimal conveniences, No do not disturb sign, luggage rack, chain for the door was missing, and bed blanket was thin to the point of being useless.

As a 2 star hotel, this location was spot on at that rating. Very dated, but for the price and the small amount of time needed at the room, it served it's purpose for us. Nothing more and nothing less. The hotel itself looks cheap on the outside, but you'll be more at ease once you get to your room. Thomas at the front desk is nice, and that made my stay even better.
Friendly staff.\n\nBreakfast was terrible. Water down coffee, waffle grill not working properly, little selection of cereal.\n\nSink in the bathroom was hand brush painted with water faucet in deplorable conditions.
