I was surprised to discover this caliber dining experience on the Eastern Shore. After living in Miami for 23 years, and traveling to many culinary hubs around the globe, my taste buds have been nicely pampered and finely honed, So, it is doubly wonderful to know I can enjoy a truly superior meal, prepared "on the spot" using fresh and (when possible) local ingredients (including fab seafood!) very close to my new home on Virginia's Eastern Shore. I've been 5 or 6 times and although the menu selections vary with what's available, I have always found fish and oyster dishes that are some of the best I have ever tasted. The chef, Brent Schmidt, is imaginative and talented. OK, you may have to wait a tad longer for some dishes, but he does prepare everything from scratch, even the breads and desserts, and trust me. It is all worth waiting for,
