I do not like the side effects of any IV sedation, so my surgeon told me that no sedative should be needed and a regional nerve block should suffice. However, DR. ALADJ told me that my request was not acceptable, he would sedate me and I would be asleep. DR. ALADJ gave me this ultimatum You do it my way or we cancel surgery.
