What a run around. Had a Boston Scientific stimulator implanted in Dec. 2018. Worked for a while then. back pain returned. Called for a follow-up with Dr. L
was informed first I needed to meet with nurse practitioner to discuss pain, etc. . No record of December procedure. Put on hold while receptionist checked with Dr.
Was advised that "they" would try to make an exception, but no promises...

Dr. Simpson Is the very BEST Orthopedic Surgeon in Virginia. He is very honest and straight forward. Highly intelligent, skilled and professional. I highly recommend him to anyone needing Lumbar or Cerical Surgery.

Dr. Simpson provided me with a second opinion. And that opinion was that I needed an anterior cervical discectomy followed by fusion. I argued for an artificial disc. He argued that artificial discs were no better and stated that " he has never seen a patient require revision surgery after cervical fusion". Well I require revision surgery a year after his fusion. I would most certainly recommend him to friends and family he is caring he wants eo make you feel well again and he has a wonderful bedside manner which is a plus great Doctor I am glad he is in Richmond
