I find this practice to be extraordinary. If I have gone for a simple follow-up, even, there is always conversation and compassion and the doctors really ASK about you. And for more complex situations, they have been amazing. You never, ever, ever feel like a "number"--but a patient and a person.

Our baby was in the hospital for a week and he never even called to talk to us about it.
