I've been going to Doody's for over 20 years. I'm one of those "Death before Home Depot" guys who prefers to support local businessess. Aside from the rude blond woman at the regester, the staff is always helpful, knowledgeable and polite.
The last time I was there, I remembered paint sticks I had forgotten from a previous visit. I said "four is plenty." She replied "two is good" in her usual b@!%hy demeaner.
I'm done. I've tried. I have always had a sense of humor and have always been polite. I expect the same in return, especially considering I'm a regular. My $1000 annual Doody's budget won't make or break them but I've been treated disrespectfully by that snotty woman for the last time.
Bottom Line... I actually do recommend them. Like I said, the staff is worth the visit, just bring your patience when it's time to pay and don't let that person get to you - and don't forget the paint sticks!
I love this place. The staff is extremely helpful and there is this one person that works there that is awesome and probably knows everything about every item there. I think he's the manager....
